Permitting

Obtaining the proper permits is a necessity for commercial ventures. Permits are required to ensure regulations are met for safety, conservation, and maintenance of community character. Below please find an overview of types of permitting in our area as well as the bodies involved in permitting. This is a general list. For more information or to review municipal zoning, subdivision and land development or Historic Architectural Review Board ordinances, please contact the EDA office. The EDA is also available to advocate for your commercial project throughout the municipal process.
